Recruitment fair for young Taiwanese held in Wuhan

On July 8, a recruitment fair for Taiwanese college students, a sub event of the 16th Hubei (Wuhan)-Taiwan Week, was held in Wuhan, capital city of central China’s Hubei Province.
The fair was co-organized by the Taiwan Affairs Office of Hubei Province, the Hubei Federation of Industry and Commerce, the Hubei Provincial Department of Education, the Human Resources and Social Security Department of Hubei Province as well as the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of Hubei Province.
Both online and offline recruitments are available at the fair, which gathered famous universities, large state-owned enterprises, well-known quoted companies and Taiwan-funded enterprises.
More than 500 Taiwanese students come to Hubei to pursue advanced studies each year. And nearly 10,000 Taiwanese students have obtained degrees in Hubei. By the end of 2018, 449 Taiwanese young people have been employed and 83 young Taiwanese entrepreneurs have established 158 small and medium-sized enterprises in Hubei, according to Li Jianhong, director of the Taiwan Affairs Office of Hubei Province.
