On July 1, the extended version of Renaissance EMU was launched nationwide. The extended version of the Renaissance EMU is currently the longest high-speed train in the world.

The train departs from Wuhan Station and runs along the Hefei-Wuhan Railway. The terminal station is Bengbu South Railway Station in Bengbu, Anhui Province.

The extended version of Renaissance EMU increases the number of carriages from 8 to 16, which contributed to the full design capacity of 1,193 people for each train. (en.hubei.gov.cn)
