Dialogue between Japan’s Kansai and Hubei to be held in Wuhan

The dialogue event between Kansai of Japan and Hubei is scheduled to commence on August 2, in Hubei Province's capital city Wuhan. More than 800 representatives from Chinese and Japanese government agencies, enterprises, universities and overseas Chinese business associations will gather together to seek cooperation.

Co-organized by the Hubei Provincial People's Government and the Consulate-General of the People's Republic of China in Osaka, this event aims to comply with China’s overall foreign policy and Hubei’s opening-up, further deepening pragmatic cooperation between Hubei and Japan in the fields of economy and trade, cultural exchanges as well as education.

The event will include high-level meetings, intangible cultural heritage exhibition, opening ceremony and local promotion conferences. And 7 special sessions including economic and trade fair, high-end forum for Sino-Japanese media think tank and dialogue between colleges and universities will be held.

Hubei and Japan have maintained favorable cooperative relationships. The event is supposed to promote bilateral exchange and cooperation in various fields, so as to push forward win-win development.
