Intelligent manufacturing industrial park to be built under Wuhan-Japan cooperation
A Sino-Japanese industrial park will site Huangpi District of Wuhan, according to a business fair held between Wuhan and Japanese enterprises on November 6, at the ongoing China International Import Expo (CIIE) in Shanghai.
The park will be planned on an area of 20 square meters, centering on intelligent manufacturing and high-end service. It targets at a demonstration model worldwide and a powerful economic engine for the province after being operational.
It is introduced that a demonstration zone for the trade between China and Japan will be designated at the park’s south and an innovation zone for international intelligent manufacturing will be established at the north, which will accommodate business like bonded logistics, software outsourcing, banking, fashion design, publishing, robot, 3D printdevice and other emerging industries.
Japan is Wuhan's second largest trading partner and the second largest source of foreign investment. At present, Japan owns investment of 9.08 billion U.S. dollars and 291 enterprises in the city. (hubei.gov.cn by Ruan Xinqi)
