Wuhan among host cities for 2021 Club World Cup

The Chinese Football Association announced eight cities that are going to host the 2021 FIFA Club World Cupon on December 28 .

Shanghai, Tianjin, Guangzhou, Shenyang, Ji'nan, Hangzhou, Dalian and Wuhan were listed.

The Club World Cup is a football competition organized every 4 years. It brings together the champion clubs of each intercontinental cup, but also the champion club of the organizing country.

Last October, FIFA announced in Shanghai that the 2021 event will be held between June and July in China. It will be the first edition featuring 24 teams.

Wuhan has made great efforts on football in recent years. 243 football fields were built and renovated in the city this year. In June, the football training base funded by Zall, which covers an area of 300 mu (200,000 square meters), was put into operation.
