Main structure of Qintai Art Museum to be completed

The construction of the Qintai Art Museum's main structure will be completed this month.

With the adoption of BIM technology, i.e., three-dimensional visualization modeling, the construction has overcome the difficulty of placing its large-span hyperbolic roofs that cover about 20,000 square meters.

Standing by Yuehu Lake in Hanyang District, the Qintai Art Museum has a peculiar structure that challenges construction engineering. Through three-dimensional modeling, the integrated pipeline layout in the building allowed workers to see the pipelines clearly and avoid collisions during construction.

It greatly improves efficiency by providing scientific guidance and predicting problems in advance. After completion, the museum will become a venue for cultural and artistic activities in Wuhan.
